'Experimental Font'
THE INSPIRATION:
My dad's garage full of race car parts and tools.
I turned it into a true font using fontself.
I took pictures of several items and cleaned them up in Photoshop. I then exported them to .pngs. Here's a look at some of the items I used to create my font.

Once I had all my .png photos, I assembled them into layers in Photoshop to create the different letters.
I created a InDesign template to assemble all the letters together in one place to see them side by side and made a few alterations. By linking the original Photoshop files in InDesign, it would update as I made changes and saved my PS file.
